The Welder will weld parts according to special instructions, blueprints and/or travelers. Perform plant functions of fusion welding techniques, Repair improperly welded pieces and any nonconforming products, Assist other welding personnel when necessary, Operate machinery and equipment, Perform equipment checks and change-overs, Measure parts to specified tolerances, Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and inks, as required, Complete all paperwork of maintenance on machinery.
Ability to lift, carry and handle objects weighing 25-30 pounds. Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
